Edexcel Modular IGCSE Chemistry: Units & Revision
Edexcel modular IGCSE Chemistry offers unit-based exams and individual unit resits before cash-in — an alternative to sitting all linear 4CH1 papers in one exam period. Available for international schools from first assessment 2025.
See maths modular IGCSE Edexcel for how cash-in, June/November series, and tier rules work across Pearson modular qualifications.
Why schools choose modular chemistry
- Spread exam pressure across Year 10–11
- Resit a weak unit without repeating every paper
- Align teaching blocks with unit assessments
Content matches Pearson international GCSE chemistry expectations — use the modular specification for unit boundaries, not guesswork from linear papers alone.
How to revise modular Edexcel chemistry

| Pre cash-in | Mixed-topic timed paper; Past Paper Timer |
