Cambridge International A Level Chemistry (9701) is Cambridge Assessment International Education's A Level chemistry qualification. AS covers physical chemistry (atomic structure, bonding, energetics, kinetics, equilibria), inorganic chemistry (periodicity, Groups 2 and 17), and organic chemistry (hydrocarbons, halogenoalkanes, alcohols, carbonyls). A2 extends with advanced physical chemistry, transition elements, and aromatic/carboxylic-acid/nitrogen organic chemistry, plus analytical techniques. Five-paper assessment including two practical-skills papers.
