Edexcel Modular IGCSE Biology: Units & Exam Route
Edexcel modular IGCSE Biology lets international schools split assessment into units with exams at the end of each unit, with resit options before cash-in — alongside the familiar linear 4BI1 route. Revision tips for modular biology
- Syllabus per unit — do not revise the whole spec before Unit 1 only.
- Diagrams and terminology — same as linear: labelled drawings, precise vocabulary.
- Past papers — Edexcel 4BI1 past papers for question style; add modular sample materials from Pearson.
- Between units — mark schemes on data questions and 6-mark style responses (Edexcel 4BI1 common mistakes where applicable).
- Free IGCSE biology notes for content recap.
