Cambridge IELTS Speaking Practice Online
Cambridge IELTS speaking practice online is best done with recorded mock interviews — the Speaking test is 11–14 minutes, face-to-face with an examiner (or video for IELTS Online where applicable). Books alone cannot replace live interaction.

Three parts to practise
| Part | Format | Practice tip |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Short questions on familiar topics | Full sentences, not yes/no |
| 2 | Cue card — 1 min prep, 1–2 min talk | Bullet plan, not memorised script |
| 3 | Discussion linked to Part 2 | Extend answers with examples |
Weekly habits
- Two recorded Part 2 answers per week.
- One full mock with a tutor or fluent partner.
- Listen for hesitation, pronunciation clarity, and grammar slips.
- Do not use rare vocabulary you cannot sustain in Part 3.
