About this scholarship
The Scottish Government funds up to fifty Saltire Scholarships a year, each worth £8,000 towards tuition on a one-year taught master's at any Scottish higher education institution.
Awards are concentrated in priority fields — science, technology, creative industries, healthcare and medical sciences, and renewable and clean energy — and the scheme is aimed at students who have not studied in Scotland before.

Eligibility

- The international equivalent of a UK first-class or 2:1 honours degree
- Able to show you can meet living costs and the remaining tuition fees
- Not previously studied in Scotland and not a previous Saltire Scholarship holder

What does the placement service cost?
A flat SGD 50, billed as two monthly instalments of SGD 25. That covers everything: counselling, university matching, application support and guidance right up to your offer. There are no hidden extras, no agent fees and no commission on your tuition, because our counselling is funded by our university partners, the SGD 50 only covers administration. Separately, you pay the university’s own tuition or semester fees directly to the university after you accept your offer.
