The main student route is the Student visa (Ryugaku). Visa type: Student visa, via a Certificate of Eligibility from your university. Work during study: Up to 28 hours per week with permission (more in long holidays). Post-study work: Switch to a work visa, or a job-hunting visa for up to 1 year. Language: English-taught degrees available; Japanese helps for work. Proof of funds: Evidence of funds for tuition and living costs. Visa and immigration rules change regularly and depend on your nationality, course and circumstances, so your Tutopiya counsellor confirms the current requirements before you apply.

International tuition typically falls in the range of ¥535,800–¥1,500,000 per year, and living costs vary by city. Tutopiya's counselling, application and enrolment support is free, so the only cost you take on is the university's own fees.

A flat SGD 50, billed as two monthly instalments of SGD 25. That covers everything: counselling, university matching, application support and guidance right up to your offer. There are no hidden extras, no agent fees and no commission on your tuition, because our counselling is funded by our university partners, the SGD 50 only covers administration. Separately, you pay the university’s own tuition or semester fees directly to the university after you accept your offer.

No. We work from predicted grades, so you can start the process well before results day and secure a conditional offer. Once your final grades are in, we help you confirm your place.

We place students from IGCSE / O-Level, A-Levels (Cambridge and Edexcel), the IB Diploma, foundation and diploma programmes, and national curricula such as CBSE and ICSE. If your grades are not quite there for direct entry, we advise on an international foundation year.
