About this scholarship
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission funds master's study in the UK for candidates from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries who could not otherwise afford it.
Awards are focused on development impact, so applications are assessed on how the study will contribute to your home country. Applications must go through an approved nominating body rather than directly.

Eligibility
- Citizen of, or refugee/protected person in, an eligible Commonwealth country, including India and Sri Lanka
- Permanently resident in an eligible country
- An undergraduate degree at upper second class (2:1) or above
- Able to demonstrate that you could not otherwise afford to study in the UK
- Available to start in the UK in the September of the award year
