About this scholarship
MTCP is Malaysia's south–south cooperation programme, running since 1980. Its scholarship funds master's study at approved Malaysian public and private universities for citizens of developing partner countries.
It is one of the few genuinely fully funded routes into Malaysian higher education, and competition is correspondingly heavy — the government funds a limited number of places each cycle.
