What We Know

• The May session runs, as it does every year, from late April to late May, based on the consistent multi-year pattern (for reference, May 2026 ran approximately 24 April – 20 May 2026).
• Results are released in July of the same year.
• As with every session, the IB does not publish a public global timetable — your school’s IB Coordinator receives and confirms exact subject dates directly, typically a few months ahead of the session.

What This Means For You

Because IB scheduling is coordinator-led rather than a single published calendar, there isn’t a country-by-country timetable to build the way there is for Cambridge or Edexcel. What actually matters for your preparation:

1. Confirm your registration status with your coordinator — registration for May 2027 is likely to open in the months following the November 2026 session.
