A lot of Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry students in Vietnam revise too passively. They reread notes and recognise the topic, but that does not always turn into stronger exam performance.

Active practice usually works much better.

What active Chemistry practice looks like

Students usually improve faster when they:

• review one topic clearly
• recall reactions and conditions from memory
• answer questions on that topic
• review repeated error patterns quickly

Why this matters

Chemistry students often feel they know the topic until the question changes slightly. That is exactly where active practice helps most.
