International A Level October November 2026 Registration Deadlines: Don't Miss Out
Missing the International A Level October/November 2026 registration deadline can mean waiting for the next series. Cambridge and Edexcel run separate calendars — here are both.

Standard vs Late Entry (Cambridge)
Standard Entry
- Register by your centre’s deadline — your school’s own cut-off is usually earlier than Cambridge’s 16 August date.
- Normal fees apply.
Late Entry
- Available until 21 September 2026.
- Late fees — often 25–50% extra per component.
- Some centres may not accept late entries; check in advance.
Edexcel IAL Entries
- Standard entries close 28 August 2026. We could not confirm a separate published late-entry date for this series from public sources — check directly with your school or Pearson if you’re close to this date.
What Happens If You Miss the Deadline?
- After the late entry deadline — no further entries for the October/November 2026 series with that board.
- Options — the next opportunity is the May/June 2027 series.
- Private candidates — contact your centre or British Council office as soon as possible.
Action Plan
- Know which board you’re sitting — Cambridge and Edexcel IAL have different deadlines and different exam dates; don’t assume they match.
- Know your centre’s deadline — it may be earlier than the board’s published date.
- Register early — this is a smaller sitting, but the deadlines are just as firm.
- Keep proof — save confirmation emails and receipts.
