Vedantu is a well-known Indian online tutoring platform offering live classes and study materials primarily for CBSE, ICSE and competitive exam students. It has built a strong reputation for live teacher-led sessions and is widely used by Indian families for school and entrance exam preparation.

For students at international schools in India on Cambridge IGCSE or IB programmes, Vedantu’s core curriculum gap is significant:

Why Vedantu doesn’t work for Cambridge IGCSE or IB

• Live classes and resources are structured around the CBSE and ICSE curriculum
• No Cambridge IGCSE (0610, 0620, 0625, 0580, 0455) syllabus classes available
• No IB Diploma Programme classes or resources
• No IB MYP content
• No Edexcel International IGCSE
• No Cambridge International A Level
• Tutors on the platform are trained for Indian board specifications, not Cambridge or IB examination conventions
• Topic coverage, question format and marking standards differ fundamentally

A student at a Cambridge school in Bangalore or Pune needs tutors who understand Cambridge mark schemes, command words and past paper question styles — not CBSE marking conventions or JEE problem-solving styles.
