Examiner tip
Always convert the measurement — the March 2025 examiner report noted that "A few measured the line and gave it as their answer." Then check the direction of the conversion: the June 2025 examiner report found that a small number of candidates applied a map scale the wrong way, doubling their measurement when it should have been halved. Drawn to real means multiply by the scale; real to drawn means divide.
