Cambridge IGCSE History (0470) examines major international issues of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, alongside the in-depth history of particular regions. All candidates study Core content in either Option A (the development of modern nation states, 1848-1914) or Option B (international relations since 1919), together with a depth study. The course develops the ability to recall and deploy historical knowledge and to understand, interpret and evaluate a range of sources as evidence in their historical context.
