Terms for using Tutopiya AI

AI can make mistakes

The tutors and lesson notes are written by AI. They're usually helpful, but they can be wrong. Check anything important with your teacher, your textbook or your exam board's materials. Tutopiya AI helps you study; it doesn't replace them.

Plans and daily limits

The free plan has fair daily limits so Tutopiya AI stays fast for everyone:

• 5 messages to the tutors
• 5 files, photos or sketches
• 15 minutes of voice calls
• 5 questions to the lesson helper
• 1 lesson recording, each up to 60 minutes

The Pro and Max plans have higher daily limits and longer lessons. They are paid monthly or yearly through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the free plan. Limits reset every day at midnight UTC. We may change these limits; we'll tell you before anything you pay for gets smaller.

What you upload

• Only upload files and recordings you have the right to use, and that the people in them are happy to share.
• Don't upload anything harmful, offensive or illegal, or anything that isn't related to studying.
• Don't try to misuse the service, for example by getting around the daily limits.

Your data

You can delete any chat or lesson at any time. How Tutopiya AI uses your data explains what we keep and why.
