SHIVANI K. – IB DP Biology HL & Biology Tutor Online

Hi, I’m Shivani! I hold a master’s degree in Biotechnology, and I studied and did research at two of India’s top institutes, IIT Delhi and IISc Bangalore. I’m also a national-level swimmer, so I know first-hand what discipline, practice and patience can do. I come from a family where education has always come first. My mother is a PhD holder, my father was a Superintendent Engineer, my brother holds an MS from Germany, and my husband is an IIT/IIM graduate. My love for teaching began early: from 5th standard, I would go along with my mother to her college and watch her teach. Since then, I’ve loved working with children and explaining things in simple, fun ways. Having lived in Egypt, Uganda and now Dubai, I’m comfortable working with students from different backgrounds and learning styles. My approach to tutoring: Every student learns differently, so I adapt to you Concepts first, memorizing later Fun examples, diagrams and real-life links to make science stick Regular practice and quick quizzes to build confidence A friendly space where no question is silly Let’s make KNOWLEDGE something you enjoy, and not something you fear!
