Must-have essentials
Statement of entry / timetable + candidate number
Have your candidate number and paper timings written down or printed (follow your centre’s instructions).
Photo ID (if required by your exam centre)
Not universal. Some private/external-candidate centres ask for passport/national ID; check your centre email.
2× black pens (plus spare)
Use black ink for written answers unless your paper says otherwise.
Pencil (HB preferred)
Eraser
Transparent (see-through) pencil case
Many exam venues require it.
Clear water bottle (no label)
Optional, but recommended. Only water unless your centre allows otherwise.
Do NOT bring (high-risk items)
Phone / smartwatch / earbuds / any device with storage or internet
Even having it on you can be treated as malpractice. Leave it at home if possible.
Notes, formula sheets, or written material (unless your paper explicitly allows it)
Correcting fluid/tape, erasable pens, highlighters, gel pens (in answers)
