Pearson Edexcel International Lower Secondary Mathematics (iLowerSecondary) is a Year 7 to Year 9 framework, internationalised from the English National Curriculum, that bridges primary maths to International GCSE. Year 9 is the final stage, adding topics such as standard form, constructions, congruence and similarity, Pythagoras' theorem and trigonometry. It concludes with the externally marked iLowerSecondary Mathematics Achievement Test (LMA11), a 1 hour 20 minute written examination in which calculators are permitted.

The iLowerSecondary Mathematics Achievement Test (paper LMA11/01) is a single externally marked written examination of 1 hour 20 minutes, taken at the end of Year 9; calculators are permitted. Outcomes are reported on the iLowerSecondary scale (Level S1 lowest to S4 highest, or Unclassified). It progresses learners towards the International GCSE Mathematics pathway.
