Pearson Edexcel International A Level Physics (XPH11 IAS / YPH11 IAL) is a modular, unit-based science qualification for international centres, with 100% external assessment and no coursework. The IAS covers Units 1-3 and the full IAL covers Units 1-6, spanning mechanics and materials, waves and electricity, further mechanics, fields and particles, thermodynamics, radiation, oscillations and cosmology, plus dedicated practical-skills units (Units 3 and 6) assessed through written examinations.
