Pearson Edexcel International A Level Economics (XEC11 IAS / YEC11 IAL) is a modular, unit-based qualification for international centres, with 100% external assessment and no coursework. The IAS covers Units 1-2 and the full IAL covers Units 1-4, progressing from markets and macroeconomic performance to business behaviour and developments in the global economy. Each written unit mixes multiple-choice, short-answer, data-response and extended essay questions.
