Pearson Edexcel International A Level Chemistry (XCH11 IAS / YCH11 IAL) is a modular, unit-based science qualification for international centres, with 100% external assessment and no coursework. The IAS covers Units 1-3 and the full IAL covers Units 1-6, spanning structure and bonding, energetics and group chemistry, rates and equilibria, transition metals and organic nitrogen chemistry, plus dedicated practical-skills units (Units 3 and 6) that assess experimental technique through written examinations.
