Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Computer Science (4CP0) develops computational thinking, problem solving and practical programming skills across six topic areas including problem solving, programming, data, computers, networks, and the wider impacts of digital technology. It is a linear qualification assessed by two equally weighted papers: a written theory paper and a practical programming examination completed on a computer using Python, C# or Java. Both papers are taken in the same series at the end of the course.
