Free Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Commerce 4CM1 revision notes, worked examples, model answers and past papers — mapped to all four themes of the specification for the 2026 exam cohort.
Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Commerce (4CM1) studies how goods and services actually reach the people who want them — production and the chain of distribution, retailers and wholesalers, ecommerce and international trade, and the risks that come with commercial activity. It then examines what makes all of that possible: banking and sources of finance, methods of payment, commercial calculations, and the aids to commerce including transport, warehousing, promotion, trading documents and consumer credit.
The content is organised into four themes. Themes 1 and 2 — Commercial Operations and Commercial Risks — are assessed on Paper 1. Themes 3 and 4 — Finance for Commerce and Aids for Commerce — are assessed on Paper 2. Assessment uses International Accounting Standards (IAS) terminology throughout, and the formulae are not printed on the exam papers.
