What is Edexcel GCSE Mathematics (1MA1)?
Pearson Edexcel GCSE (9-1) Mathematics (1MA1) is one of the most widely taken GCSE qualifications in the UK, offered at two tiers — Foundation (grades 1 to 5) and Higher (grades 4 to 9, with grade 3 allowed). It covers six content domains: Number; Algebra; Ratio, proportion and rates of change; Geometry and measures; Probability; and Statistics. Assessment is by three externally examined papers taken at the same tier, with no coursework.
