Pearson Edexcel A Level Mathematics (9MA0) is a Level 3 Advanced GCE assessed entirely by external examination, with no coursework. It covers Pure Mathematics — proof, algebra and functions, coordinate geometry, sequences and series, trigonometry, exponentials and logarithms, differentiation, integration, numerical methods and vectors — alongside Statistics and Mechanics. The qualification is examined through three equally weighted papers, with calculators permitted throughout, and is graded A* to E.
