Cambridge International AS & A Level English Language (9093) develops students' ability to read and analyse a wide variety of texts, write effectively and creatively for different audiences and purposes, and understand how form, structure and language produce meaning. AS Level covers reading and writing skills; A Level adds language analysis and the study of language topics such as English in the world and child language acquisition. Assessment is by four externally examined written papers with no coursework.
