AQA GCSE Mathematics (8300) is one of the most widely taken GCSE maths qualifications in England, assessing Number, Algebra, Ratio and proportion, Geometry and measures, Probability, and Statistics. It is offered at two tiers — Foundation (grades 1-5) and Higher (grades 4-9) — and is a linear qualification with all exams sat at the end of the course. Students take three equally weighted written papers at their chosen tier, with no coursework.
