AQA GCSE Biology (8461) is a separate-science GCSE covering Cell biology, Organisation, Infection and response, Bioenergetics, Homeostasis and response, Inheritance, variation and evolution, and Ecology, underpinned by ten required practicals. It is a linear qualification offered at Foundation (grades 1-5) and Higher (grades 4-9) tiers, with all exams sat at the end of the course.
