Cambridge International A Level Mathematics (9709) is Cambridge Assessment International Education's flexible A Level maths qualification. Students can take six papers across Pure Mathematics 1-3, Mechanics, Probability & Statistics 1-2, with the combination determining whether they qualify for AS, A Level (Mathematics) or A Level Further Mathematics. Topics include algebra, functions, calculus, trigonometry, vectors, mechanics (kinematics, forces, energy, momentum), and probability & statistics.

Flexible structure. AS Level Mathematics = Paper 1 + one of {Paper 2, Paper 4, Paper 5}. Full A Level Mathematics = Paper 1 + Paper 3 + two of {Paper 4, Paper 5, Paper 6} (Paper 4 and Paper 6 cannot be combined). All papers are written, externally assessed; calculators allowed. Grades a–e (AS) / A*–E (A Level).
