Exam timetable builder & exam countdown
Build your own exam timetable for Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, and the IB Diploma. Add subjects, papers, venues, and durations — or start from preset rows — then track a live countdown to your next exam. Export Excel (CSV), calendar (.ics), and a printable PDF timetable.
How to build your exam timetable online
- Choose your country / region and exam sitting (May/June, Oct/Nov, etc.) so exports match how you describe your series.
- Load a preset or add papers manually using your official board timetable (PDF or portal). Most subjects have several exam papers on different days — add one row per paper (repeat the subject name for each). Presets include a demo with sample dates and blank templates for Cambridge IGCSE, AQA GCSE, and IB DP — replace with your real dates.
- Watch the countdown to your next paper and use browser reminders (optional) or calendar export for phone alerts.
- Download your timetable as CSV for Excel, .ics for Google/Apple Calendar, or print to PDF.

Open your official timetable PDF
Tick which boards you need below — only those official timetable PDFs are shown. You can mix boards in your table; use the PDF that matches each paper’s board. Set your sitting and (for Cambridge) your administrative zone. Each subject usually lists several papers on different dates — add one table row per paper (repeat the subject name where needed).
Which exam boards do you need official timetables for?
Cambridge International — June 2026
Cambridge International allocates centres to an administrative zone (1–6), each with its own PDF, plus a separate UK timetable for schools in the United Kingdom. Confirm with your centre which PDF to use. IGCSE, O Level, and International AS & A Level share the same zone timetables for this series.

Add a paper manually
Many students take a mix of boards — choose the board for this paper below (or change it later in the table). Each subject normally has multiple papers — add a separate row for every paper (same subject name, different paper code or date). The sidebar default board pre-fills this form when you change it. For Cambridge May/June 2026, use the UK or zone PDF above so times match your centre.

Exam timetable builder FAQ
Common questions about building an exam timetable, countdowns, and exports.
Is this the same as the Tutopiya study planner?
No. This tool is for official exam dates and papers. The study planner is for revision sessions and goals. Use both: exam dates here, revision blocks there.
Are the dates “official” from exam boards?
You enter dates from your board’s published timetable. Presets are templates — always confirm against the PDF for your series, zone, and tier. Links to timetable hubs are provided for Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA, and IB.
Can I download my exam timetable to Excel?
Yes. Use Download Excel (CSV) to open the file in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
How do I get reminders on my phone?
Export Add to calendar (.ics) and import into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. That is the most reliable way to get reminders on your phone.
Which boards can I use?
Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel (GCSE & International), AQA (GCSE & A-Level), and IB Diploma. You can still add custom rows for other qualifications.
My subject has several papers — how do I enter them?
Add one row per paper. Official timetables list each paper separately (often with different codes or components and different dates). Repeat the subject on each row and set the paper code, date, and time to match that paper only.
Can I mix different exam boards in one timetable?
Yes. Choose the exam board for each paper when you add a row, or change the Board column in the table. Open the official PDF that matches each paper’s board — for example Cambridge for one subject and Pearson Edexcel or AQA for another.
What are Cambridge International (CIE) administrative zones?
Cambridge International allocates centres to six administrative zones (plus a separate UK timetable where applicable). Each has its own PDF timetable (local start times). Your centre tells you whether you follow the UK timetable or a zone. In the tool, choose Cambridge IGCSE or International AS & A-Level, May/June, then the UK or your zone, and open the official June 2026 PDF to copy paper dates and times. Edexcel and the IB also publish separate timetables by region or session — use the links in the tool for your qualification.
