Greetings, I'm delighted to introduce myself as Fathima, an enthusiastic and seasoned educator hailing from Sri Lanka. With a wealth of 11 years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Information Technology, I bring a dynamic approach to learning that sparks curiosity and fosters academic growth. My educational background includes a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the esteemed University of Bedfordshire in the UK, coupled with the completion of an HND in IT at SLIIT in Sri Lanka back in 2017. Presently, I serve as both a part-time tutor and a dedicated educator at a prestigious international school in Colombo. Since 2014, I've had the privilege of guiding students through the realms of ICT and Mathematics, specifically catering to grades 10 and 11. My expertise extends across all levels, from grades 6 to AL, and I continuously stay abreast of the latest curriculum and syllabus enhancements to ensure an enriching educational experience for my students. What sets me apart as an educator is my innate ability to engage with students on a personal level, gauging their comprehension levels and tailoring my teaching approach accordingly.
